Lab

I lead design teams for a living. I build small apps for fun, to stay close to the craft and to learn what AI changes about making software.

    Maap

Plan your home before anyone picks up a drill.

    • Live
    • Web

Draw your rooms to scale, place furniture at its real size, and mark every switch, socket, and AC point. An issues checker catches the mistakes a good site supervisor would, like a switch hidden behind a door or a wardrobe that cannot open.

    Why I built it
I planned my own flat on graph paper and redrew the bedroom every time we changed our minds. So I built the tool I wanted.
    What it taught me
Scope is a design decision. Maap is not CAD and does not try to be, and saying no to 3D is what made it shippable.

    Split bills. Stay friends.

    • Android

Track shared expenses in a group, see who owes whom as it happens, and settle up in the fewest payments. Even, custom, and ratio splits, in more than one currency.

    Why I built it
My friends and I wanted to split trips and rent without ads, fees, or a spreadsheet. I built it for our own circle.
    What it taught me
Trust is the product. Balances are always computed from the ledger, never stored, so the number on screen cannot drift from the truth.

Why I build

None of these are side businesses. They are how I keep my hands in the work: scoping something small, making the hundred decisions a product needs, and shipping it. It makes me a better partner to the designers and engineers I lead, because I know what I am asking of them.

Let's talk

I'm always up for a conversation about building design teams, AI in enterprise products, or growing designers into leaders.
